Heversham St Peter’s C of E Primary School is in the village of Leasgill on a hilly site overlooking the village of Heversham and looking towards Morecambe Bay. It is a beautiful site surrounded by mature trees and shrubs, has a wildlife area, a pond and a small hilly area at the back of the school.

At Heversham St Peters we work together as a team. We aim to provide a stimulating, challenging and caring environment where children can grow as learners and as human beings. We pride ourselves on good discipline and, importantly, staff and pupils value one another’s contribution to school life.

We strive to provide a learning environment that will contribute to children’s real lives both as they live them and as a preparation for their futures. It is not good enough merely to deliver a curriculum. We see our role as supporting the development of learners.

We value the Christian values that are necessary for us all to live peacefully and constructively together. We work alongside parents so that school is as an intrinsic part of everyday life. We have strong and valued links with our Church and community.
